Does any of this
sound familiar?

These are some of the most common reasons people in their 60s, 70s and 80s come to see us. None of them are "just your age".

01

Stiff
Mornings

Taking longer to get going, or a lower back that complains first thing.

02

Aches after the garden

Hips or knees that ache after gardening, walking or looking after the grandchildren.

03

Feeling less
steady

A wobble on the stairs or a near-fall that's left you a little less confident.

04

Doing a
little less

Quietly giving up the walks, classes or hobbies you used to enjoy.

HEART. BRAIN. JOINTS.

Looking after the
inside, too

Omega-3 fats play a part in keeping the heart, brain and joints healthy. A simple finger-prick BalanceTest*, done at home, shows your Omega-6:3 balance so we can talk about whether any changes might help.

On medication? Check with your GP first

If you take blood thinners or other regular medicines, we'll give you a GP-check note before you start any supplement — so you can be sure it's safe for you.

*Balance test is optional through Zinzino

Five simple exercises to help keep you steady

A printed, large-print handout you can keep by the kettle. Pick one up at the clinic, or ring and we'll post one to you.

Local resources to support you

A community of programmes from fall prevention to yoga and pilates.   We can help recommend support groups.
